Description

Fremantle Terrace is a mid-19th century terrace of red brick houses with ashlar dressings and a pitched slate roof. The building has two storeys, semi-basements, and attics. Each house has two bays, featuring stone mullion-and-transom casement windows. The ground floor bays alternate between canted and oblong designs. Dormers are present, with gabled or pediment-shaped forms. The front doors are accessed via stone steps with cast iron balustrades. Doors have either four moulded panels, with a two-centred arched design and triple chamfers and Geometrical-traceried glazing bars to the fanlight, or an oblong design with double chamfers and stone-mullioned fanlights.
