Description
The hay barn, located approximately 5 metres north of the stables at Azerley Park, is likely from the mid to late 19th century, post-1860. It is constructed of red brick in English bond and features a pantile roof with an eaves course of stone slates. This tall, five-bay building is of the Dutch barn type. On the west and east sides, brick piers support the roof structure, with the spaces between the piers on the west side filled with brick and stone walling. The gables have coping, and both the south and north gables include rows of clay pipes for ventilation.
