Description
This barn, located approximately 5 metres south of the buildings attached to Keld Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with irregular quoins and features a pantile roof. The barn has two storeys, with a central plank door at the front beneath a thin timber lintel. There are ventilation slits on both sides and a shuttered pitching window to the left on the upper floor. Additionally, there is a shuttered pitching window on the right gable wall. At the rear, there is a central plank door also beneath a thin timber lintel. This barn is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
