Description

Nos 12 to 16 on Scalby Road are 18th to 19th century stone rubble cottages that stand two storeys high with roughcast fronts. They feature gable end roofs covered with old pantiles. Cottages 4 and 14 each have one three-light Yorkshire casement window on both floors, along with plank doors and a central chimney stack, which may have been part of a former blacksmith's shop. No 16 has been converted from two cottages and now has two windows with three-light sash designs, along with a door featuring four moulded panels.
