Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It features a cement-rendered exterior, reddish-brown brick with ashlar dressings, and a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and three first-floor windows, with extensions at the rear and a range to the right that is of no special interest. The corners of the building are marked by quoins. The central entrance consists of a plank door with an overlight above. The windows are mainly 4-pane sashes, including one tripartite sash, all set with stone sills. There is a first-floor band, a swept roof with ashlar coping, and rear stacks. Inside, the farmhouse includes a dogleg staircase featuring two vase-on-ball balusters per tread, and some ceilings have boxed beams.
