Description

A house dated 1777, with alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed gritstone rubble with ashlar dressings, and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high, with a central lobby-entry plan and three windows on the first floor. It features quoins. The front entrance has a four-panel door set within a stone architrave, with a circular datestone inscribed "1777" above. The windows are chamfered stone mullioned windows, formerly of three lights on both the ground and first floors. The ground-floor windows now have only one mullion remaining, with inserted sash windows; the first-floor windows are largely intact, flanking a central single-light window.
