Description
Nos 36 and 38 on High Street are 18th-century buildings that have undergone alterations. They are constructed of painted brick with stone quoins and feature a Welsh slate roof with a small bracketed eaves cornice. The buildings rise three storeys and have three windows. Full height canted bays are positioned on either side of single windows, which have late 19th-century glazing.
The shop fronts include one modern design and one that has been altered from the 19th century. These flank a six-panel door that is topped with a radial fanlight, set within a doorcase that has fluted half-columns and an entablature.
