Description

The Angel Inn dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick with a pantiled roof and an end brick chimney. The building is a through-passage pair and stands three storeys high, with two windows on each floor. It features full-height canted bays with sash windows containing glazing bars. An early to mid-19th century shop is located on the ground floor to the left. Rear extensions to the property date from approximately 1800 and retain their original windows.
