Description

Nos 16, 18, and 20 High Street are 18th-century buildings that have undergone some alterations. They are constructed of local brick in Flemish bond and feature a pantiled roof, with No 18 having a new roof. The buildings rise three storeys and have four windows arranged in a pattern of 1:2:1. The outer bays contain 18th-century sash windows set beneath gauged brick flat arches with keystones on the first floor, while stuccoed lintels are positioned above. In the centre, there are two 19th-century sash windows above a canted bay window below. The ground floor includes one altered 19th-century shop and two modern shops.
