Description
Nutter Cote is a laithe house, likely dating from the late 18th century and enlarged in the 19th century. It is constructed of squared rubble with a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high. The original portion on the left has a plain doorway towards the right-hand gable and a four-light recessed square mullion window on each floor. A two-light window is blocked on the first floor. The laithe extends to the left beneath a catslide roof. To the right is another doorway, flanked by windows without mullions, all with plain surrounds. A similar two-light window is located on the first floor. There are two chimney stacks.
