Description

PICKHILL WITH ROXBY SE 38 SW 4/37 Tombstone to Elizabeth Squire approximately 10 metres to south-west of south porch of the Church of All Saints GV II Tombstone. 1770. Stone. At the top of the stone is a cherubs head with a scrolled broken pediment above. Inscription below reads: 'In memory of Elizabeth the wife of William Squire of Pickhill who died October 16th 1770, aged 63 years'. The tombstone also commemorates George Squire, William Squire and the son of William Squire.
