Description

The Methodist Chapel, now a house extension, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed gritstone that is rendered, topped with a pantile roof. The building features quoins and has a central double board door set in a tooled stone surround. This door is flanked by round-arched sash windows that have glazing bars, all within architraves that include keystones and imposts. Above the door, there is a datestone that has been defaced. Additional architectural details include stone gutter brackets, shaped kneelers, and gable copings.
