Description
Sunnyside and Orchard Cottage are two cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are built from coursed rubblestone and have a pantile roof. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of four bays, with each cottage occupying two bays. The corners of the buildings feature quoins.
Sunnyside, located on the left, has a central half-glazed panelled door set within a latticed-wood gabled porch. This is flanked by sixteen-pane two-light side-sliding sash windows, and there is a blocked door with a timber lintel on the far left. Orchard Cottage, on the right, has a board door to the right and a sixteen-pane side-sliding sash window to the left. All openings are topped with stone lintels, and every window has stone sills. On the first floor, there are twelve-pane side-sliding sash windows. The roof features stone coping and a central brick ridge stack.
