Description

Stables to the Bruce Arms Inn, built in the early 19th century, are constructed of coursed squared stone and feature a graduated stone slate roof. The building has an L-shaped plan, with a wing that projects forward on the left side. The left wing has a gabled roof and includes 20th-century wooden garage doors. Above the doors, there are shaped kneelers and stone coping, topped with a weathervane at the apex. The back right wing has two wagon board doors beneath segmental arches on the left, and to the right, there is a hoard door under a stone lintel. On the first floor, there is a square board door to the left, with stone coping above. This building is included for its group value.
