Description
Oak Lea is a house built around 1800, constructed from coursed squared gritstone with a pantile roof and stone slate eaves course. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with a lower two-storey bay that is recessed to the right. The central entrance features a half-glazed four-panel door, while the flanking and first-floor windows have 20th-century frames. The side bays contain three-light windows, and the first-floor of the central bay has a two-light window. All openings are topped with flat arches made of voussoirs. There are brick stacks at both ends, with the left stack rendered. The recessed bay to the right has a small square window on the first floor. The house is included for its group value.
