Description
This is a boundary post located approximately 650 meters northeast of Holme Parish Church. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of cast iron. The post has a half-hexagonal shape with fluted faces and a domed top, and it is painted. On the south side, it is marked "PH OF," and it has the same marking on the north side. This boundary post is part of a series of similar milestones and boundary stones found along this and the Heronsyke Turnpike in neighboring parishes.
