Description
This pair of houses, located to the north-west of the Ship Inn public house, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The ground floor is finished in stucco, while the upper floors are roughcast, topped with a slate roof. The buildings rise three storeys and consist of three bays. There is a sill band at the first floor level. The windows are sashed with glazing bars, and the central bay features blind windows that are painted to resemble sashes. Each of the three entrances in the central bay has a six-fielded-panel door, with two being flush and all having overlights. The central entrance leads to a through passage and has glazing bars in its overlight. The houses also feature a cross-axial stack and a gable-end stack.
