Description

This is an early 18th-century dovecote located south-west of Wreay Hall Farmhouse. It features dressed calciferous sandstone walls and eaves modillions beneath a pyramidal roof made of graduated greenslate, which has lead ridges and an open wooden lantern. The dovecote is a single-storey octagonal structure with a side doorway. Inside, there are remnants of its original shelves.
