Description

The sundial in Wreay Churchyard was created around 1842 for Sarah Losh. It is made of sandstone and features a brass dial. The sundial has a square chamfered base that is inscribed with the phrase "DO TODAY'S WORK TODAY." It stands on a rounded column adorned with carved pine-cones and is topped with a carved sunflower head. The dial itself displays Roman numerals. This sundial serves as an ornamental feature in the churchyard, located to the right of the west entrance to the church.
