3/29 Former Brew and Bakehouse, now kitchens, stores, and living accommodation over, attached to South-east of Dallam Tower

Former Brew and Bakehouse, now kitchens and stores, with living accommodation over. Early C19 by G. Webster, with later alterations. Scored stucco, sandstone dressings; graduated greenslate roof. L-shaped. 2 storeys. East elevation: 5 windows, sashes with glazing bars to first floor, 3 5-light windows with C19 chamfered stone mullions and transoms and leaded glazing to ground floor. North elevation of South wing 3 windows, sashes with glazing bars over 2 3-light C19 mullioned windows, as East elevation, and archway with round head and rusticated voussoirs to right. Plinth; rusticated quoins; 5 corniced chimneys; small tower surmounted by cupola and weathervane supported on 8 columns, matching clocktower on stable but without clock. Interior of first floor has fine early C19 woodwork throughout living accommodation.
