Description

This barn, located to the north of Number 1 in Appleby in Westmorland, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a simple design. Notably, it has a re-used 17th-century doorhead, which includes a flat four-centred arch beneath a square head with voided spandrels. The barn is included in the listing for its group value.
