Description
Gardener's Cottage and two adjoining properties are a row of cottages built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of rendered rubble and topped with a graduated slate roof that is hipped at the south end, featuring stone chimneys. The Gardener's Cottage and the cottage next to it are identical, each displaying a symmetrical two-storey, three-bay front with a central part-glazed door. There is a single sash window with glazing bars on either side of the door on each floor. The end property functions as a shop, featuring a central panelled door flanked by large fixed windows with glazing bars on the south side. Above these, there are two sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor and two more sash windows with glazing bars in the west wall.
