Description

No 10 is a house located in Sockbridge, likely built in the early 18th century. It features roughcast stone and a slate roof, standing two storeys tall with three bays. The layout includes a central entrance, and the windows have flat-faced mullions set in chamfered reveals, with three lights on the ground floor and two lights on the first floor. The first bay includes a fire window. The entrance is marked by a glazed door. The house has a gable-end stack and a cross-axial stack. On the east side, there is a lean-to outshut. At the rear, there is a gabled wing with an entrance and a two-light single-chamfered-mullioned window, along with a gable-end stack.
