Description

Hall Croft is a house that likely dates from the early 18th century, with some later alterations. It is constructed of roughcast stone and has a slate roof. The north elevation features two storeys and two bays, with quoin strips. The windows are sashed with horns, and there is a paired sashed window in the first bay of the ground floor. The entrance has chamfered reveals and an embattled lintel, and it formerly had a six-fielded panel door with two glazed sections. The house has a gable-end stack and a cross-axial stack. The east return includes two windows that were formerly sashed and a rear gabled wing. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is reported to contain a panelled spice cupboard door and a fireplace with a corbelled lintel.
