The building has a graduated greenslate roof topped with stone chimney stacks on brick bases. It stands two storeys high and consists of four bays. The entrance has a 20th-century door, with the fanlight removed, situated in a pilastered doorcase. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, framed by painted stone surrounds. The left and rear extensions of the house are not considered of interest.
