Description

This is an 18th-century building of stone rubble construction with a stone flag roof. The building comprises numbers 41, 43, and 45 Boroughgate in Appleby-in-Westmorland. The ground rises uphill, which results in number 45 having lower ceilings because of the level eaves line. It is two storeys high, with four windows on the ground floor and five windows above. The windows have altered stone architraves. The doors are boarded and glazed.
