Description

Bank House, formerly listed as the Masonic Hall, is a late 18th-century building located on the east side of Boroughgate in Appleby in Westmorland. It is constructed of roughcast stone and features a stone cornice. The building stands three storeys high and includes cellars, with a louvre in the roof. The original rusticated doorway has been replaced with a modern doorway. On the ground floor, there are four windows without glazing bars, while the first floor has five 16-paned sash windows, and the top floor features five 12-paned sash windows.
