Description
Number 69 and the adjoining range along Mill Brow is a mid-19th century shop that stands three storeys tall. The building is constructed of ashlar with a slate roof and features a single chimney. It has chamfered rusticated quoins and a wooden cornice. The front has three windows with sills and plain surrounds, all of which are sashed. The shopfront is double and includes Doric pilasters, with a modern door. There is a rubble extension at the back that contains a former stable situated between Mill Brow and Red Dragon Yard, which also includes the former Number 1 Mill Brow. This extension is three storeys high and has two bays. The windows here are sashed with all glazing bars, except for the right-hand side ground floor window, which is fixed. There is also a four-panel door.
