Description

Mount Clifton is an early 19th-century farmhouse featuring painted rendered walls and painted V-jointed quoins. It has a hipped roof made of graduated greenslate and a banded central rendered chimney stack. The building stands two storeys high and consists of three bays. The entrance includes a panelled door with an overlight, set within a painted stone surround and a patterned cast-iron porch. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, framed in painted stone surrounds. The left extension of the farmhouse is not of interest.
