Description
This is a barn located to the south-west of Topthorne Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century with later additions. The structure is built of stone rubble and has a slate roof. The south end is at a lower level due to the slope of the ground. The east elevation features a later lean-to outshut with a corrugated iron roof, along with windows, a loading door, and an open-fronted shed at the northern end. The south gable end has three drip courses, a segmental-headed entrance, and two upper openings. There are two entrances with flat arches on the left and one entrance on the right. The west elevation includes a barn entrance with an outshut to the right. The interior has not been inspected but is said to contain an 18th-century beam.
