Description
This is a disused gateway, wall, and railings located at the former entrance north-east of Unthank Hall, dating from the mid-19th century. The structure is made of calciferous sandstone ashlar and features square piers with chamfered angles topped with shaped caps. Low serpentine walls connect to smaller end piers that are similar in design. The gateway is complemented by cast iron railings. It is listed for its group value with Unthank Hall.
