Description

The Victorian Hall, also known as the Gospel Hall, was built in 1797 as a Methodist Chapel, with preaching focused on the New Testament and the sermons of John Wesley. It is a small, plain rectangular building made of stone rubble, featuring quoin detailing and a slate roof. There are two plain windows on the west and south sides, which do not have glazing, and two round-arched windows on the north gable end. A later brick chimney is located on the south-west corner. The east wall is not visible from the street, and the entrance is accessed through a roadside cottage.
