Description

This barn, located to the north-west of Durranhill Lodge, dates from the late 18th century. It features English bond brickwork, with some red sandstone quoins on the ground floor to the right. The roof is covered with 20th-century composition tiles. The barn has two storeys, with a left panelled door and a loft door above it, both set in a painted stone surround. On the ground floor, there are small casement windows and diamond-shaped open brick vents on the upper floor. To the right, there is a sliding plank door with a loft above and a boarded window. A contemporary lean-to extension is attached to the left side. The interior has not been inspected. This barn is included for its group value with Durranhill Lodge.
