Description

Ribton House and the adjoining barn are a farmhouse and barn dating from the early 19th century. They feature mixed calciferous sandstone and limestone rubble walls with angle pilasters, topped by a graduated greenslate roof with ashlar chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, with the barn positioned at a right angle to the left rear. The house includes a 20th-century door and sash windows with glazing bars set in painted stone surrounds. The barn has a segmental carriage archway with blocked windows on either side and slit vents. There is also a further barn extension with a lower roof line.
