Description

Plunderland Farmhouse and the adjoining barn are notable structures dating from 1739, as indicated by an inscribed lintel. The farmhouse features roughcast walls beneath a graduated greenslate roof, complemented by brick chimney stacks. It is two storeys high with three bays, and there is a lower right-angled barn located to the right rear. The farmhouse has a panelled door set in a painted stone surround, and the windows are 20th-century casements within two-light stone-mullioned frames. The barn includes a plank door in a plain opening, situated beneath a two-light window that is closest to the house. Additionally, the barn has a loft doorway and upper slit vents.
