Description
The Quaker Meeting House is a building that originated as a 17th-century cottage, which was converted into a meeting house in 1703 and later extended in 1732. It features painted rendered walls and is topped with a graduated greenslate roof. The structure is single-storey with two bays, and there is a lower two-bay extension on the left side. The entrance has a panelled door with an overlight, set within a pilastered doorcase that is topped by a pediment. The front and side walls are blank, while the rear includes sash windows with glazing bars, framed in painted stone surrounds. Inside, there is a panelled screen that separates the Women's and Men's rooms.
