Description

The Croft, Nos. 1 to 4, comprises a row of stone cottages originally serving as a mill house and workers’ cottages. They date to the 18th century and are situated adjacent to a mill, attached to its south gable end. The cottages are two storeys in height, with small sash windows. The rear walls are built along the river bank and continue the line of the mill’s wall. Nos. 1 to 4, along with the former mill, form a cohesive group. They are now used as private dwellings.
