Description

Nos. 57 and 58 on Roper Street, built in 1814, are a pair of three-storey buildings featuring a richly ornamented Victorian facade. Each floor has five windows, with some having segmental heads and others with depressed arches, all adorned with keystones. The ground floor windows are separated by Composite pilasters and enhanced by a panelled frieze and cornice. The first floor showcases alternating raked and curved pediments, decorated with masks and cartouches.
