Description

Skiddaw View is a house dating from the early 19th century, located in Bothel and Threlpland. The house is constructed of painted incised stucco, featuring an eaves cornice, V-jointed quoins on a chamfered plinth, and a Welsh slate roof with yellow brick chimney stacks. It is two storeys high and has two bays. A 20th-century door is set beneath a radial fanlight within a pilastered surround. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within painted stone surrounds. The building is listed partly for its group value alongside High House.
