Description
The Limes is a late 18th-century farmhouse accompanied by an adjoining barn. The farmhouse is constructed of Flemish bond brickwork with a chamfered plinth and V-jointed quoins, topped by a plain stone cornice and a graduated greenslate roof. It is two storeys high and has three bays, featuring sash windows with glazing bars set within stone architraves. A 20th-century door is located within a stone architrave. The barn, of two storeys, is in an L-shape to the right of the farmhouse. The barn has a 20th-century door situated in a quoined surround, complete with a keyed entablature, and a small sash window with glazing bars above. A casement window with glazing bars is located to the right. Further features of the barn include slit vents, plank doors to the side, and small sash windows with glazing bars.
