Description
Northgate House is an 18th-century house that was remodeled and heightened in the early 19th century. It has two lower floors made of random red and blue brick, while the upper floor features red brick with vertical blue brick bands. The house has a slate roof and brick stacks. It stands three storeys tall with six bays. The entrance, located in the third bay from the right, has a moulded stone surround with narrow pilasters and a straight entablature. The doorway is recessed and features a moulded wood surround, a four-panel door, sidelights, and an overlight. All the windows have rendered lintels with keyblocks and consist of two-light wood casements with a transom. The windows on the third floor have old iron casements. The interior has not been inspected.
