Description
The Old Harrow is a house, likely built in the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features coursed limestone rubble and a slate roof, along with brick stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, arranged in three bays. The doorway located in the second bay from the right has a wooden lintel, a 20th-century door, and a 20th-century gabled timber porch. To the left of the doorway is a two-light casement window with a wooden lintel, while the left and right bays contain three-light casement windows, also with wooden lintels. On the first floor, there are similar windows in the outer bays, and a two-light casement window with a wooden lintel is found in the second bay from the left. The interior was remodeled in the 19th century, resulting in an altered room pattern and featuring chamfered spine beams. The building was formerly known as "The Old Harrow" Public House and is included for its group value.
