Description

This is a row of four headstones located approximately 10 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St. Nicholas. They date from the early 18th century and are made of ironstone. Each headstone features an inscription plaque framed by draperies and topped with an open book. The inscriptions are weathered, making no names visible. The second headstone from the left is dated 1736, the second from the right is dated 1723, and the rightmost headstone is dated 1741. These headstones are included for their group value.
