Description
The Corporation Charity School is a building dated 1811. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features a plinth and quoins. The ground floor originally had a central door in a stone surround with a moulded cornice. This has been altered with the insertion of two modern shop fronts. The first floor has three tall sash windows interspersed with two small stone niches. A plaque is situated above the door. The building forms a group with Nos. 56 to 60 (even), 60a and 60b.
