Description

The Manor House is a manor dating from 1607. It is constructed of squared coursed lias and limestone, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high, featuring a three-window range with 20th-century casements. To the right, there is a two-storey limestone ashlar porch with an arched entrance, two moulded cornices, and a Diocletian window on the first floor set in a recessed panel, along with a moulded cornice and a datestone above. The house has brick and rendered stacks at the ridge and ends. Inside, the entrance hall includes an open fireplace with a bressumer and chamfered ceiling beams.
