Description
Old House Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the mid 17th century. It is constructed of squared coursed lias and features a plain tile roof. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a three-window range. The central window on the first floor is a two-light stone mullion window with a hood mould, while the other windows are 19th-century casements, with hood moulds over the ground floor windows. There are two hipped roof dormers, and the gables are adorned with ashlar parapets and kneelers, along with stone stacks at each end. The right gable includes a two-light stone mullioned window with a hood mould. The rear of the farmhouse has a similar blocked three-light window and a single-light window with a moulded stone surround. The entrance is located on the left side. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have panelled window shutters in the ground floor rooms.
