Description
Clevelands Farm is a farmhouse, now a house, with a datestone indicating it was built in 1696, although the main front likely dates from the early 17th century. The building features squared coursed lias stone with a tiled roof and has an L-shaped plan. It is two storeys high, with the main front displaying a two-window range of three-light stone mullion windows. There is a 19th-century tripartite sash window on the ground floor to the right. Brick stacks are located at both ends, and there is a 20th-century extension to the left. The rear wing includes some stone mullion windows and has a datestone on the rear gable. Inside, the farmhouse has stopped chamfered ceiling beams and a mid-18th century staircase with turned balusters.
