Description

No. 4 Mercer’s Row is a late 17th century building that has been altered over time. It features a stucco front and an old tiled roof with a dormer. The building stands three storeys tall with attics, and it has quoins and a modillioned cornice. The ground floor has a modern shop window with a fascia that lacks a cornice. Each of the upper floors has two sash windows set within architrave surrounds. This building is included for its group value, as it forms part of a group with Nos. 3 to 6 Mercer’s Row.
