Description

This is an 18th-century cottage, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with a whitewashed exterior and a corrugated iron roof formerly thatched. The cottage has brick end stacks. It is a two-story building with a two-window front, arranged in a two-unit plan. The central entrance is a four-panel door, protected by a wood lintel and a gabled hood on brackets. There are two-light casement windows with wood lintels on both the ground and first floors. A single-story extension adjoins the right side. The interior has not been inspected. Formerly a public house known as the Blue Bell.
