Description

This is a footbridge located approximately 30 meters northeast of the Manor House in Ashby St. Ledgers. It was likely built around 1920 by the architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. The bridge is constructed from ironstone ashlar with a timber superstructure and parapet. It features three arches that span an artificial river. The bridge is referenced in C. Hussey's work on Ashby St. Ledgers Manor House, published in Country Life in 1951.
